Abstract Submission

Make sure you have examined the details of available symposia, and know which one is most suitable for your presentation. If your presentation does not fit into any of the organized symposia, we also have some open sessions to which you can submit your abstract.

Abstract preparation

You should prepare your abstract on the PDF form that can be downloaded here:

Get abstract preparation form

The form can be completed and saved using the free Adobe Reader (version 8 or above). When you have completed the form (remembering to select a symposium, and oral or poster presentation), you should save it to your computer in a place where you can easily find it. During registration, you will then be able to upload the completed abstract form as part of the registration process.

Title: This should not exceed 120 characters, including spaces.

Abstract: This should not exceed 2000 characters, including spaces (approximately 250 words), and should only contain text (no diagrams or equations).

What will happen to my abstract after submission?

Your abstract will be sent to the organizers of the symposium that you selected, and once registration has closed, they will make the final decision about who will present oral presentations and posters in their symposium. You will then be notified of their decision as soon as possible after the closing date for abstract submission. Abstracts submitted to open symposia will be assessed by the organizing committee, and again a selection of presentations will be made following the deadline for abstract submission.
